Hello Summer...

Ah Summer how we missed you!!! 

 It finally feels like spring and summer all at once on Cape Cod.  For the first time in many years we actually had a cold snowy winter.  But as we drive around now we suddenly see green grass and trees and the flowers are now blooming.

There is nothing like a Cape Cod garden.  Our favorites are the beautiful perennial's and of course when the hydrangeas peak…then we know it is Cape Cod summer.

You never know what kind of weather you will get in New England…Yesterday on Cape Cod-- it was sunny, crisp and beautiful.  As we were driving around Chatham, we received this photo from Maine. This is what I was seeing?

In Western Maine there was snow...

And then today on Cape Cod there is snow…

How can that be?  But that is New England for you.  We love the diverse New England weather. We love snow, leaves turning in the fall, spring flowers and summer heat and warm Nantucket Sound.

Happy Fall!

This is what Fall looks like on Cape Cod.  These photos were taken in Chatham earlier this week.  The weather has been perfect.  The mornings start out a little cool --just right for a walk or outdoor exercise.  The afternoons are still beach weather and believe it or not folks are still swimming.

These pictures just make you smile and say "Happy Fall"!

Indian Summer on Cape Cod!

 This photo was taken yesterday at Ridgevale Beach in Chatham.

It was just a perfect day. Warm but not too warm and the world just seemed at peace. We know that folks think the Cape is a summer holiday destination but we feel that one of the best times to come here is September. The weather is amazing. The beaches are beautiful and you can enjoy the bike trail, the restaurants and a nice drive out to Provincetown with out any stress.

And not to forget the "off season rates"...It is the only time that you can rent a home on the Cape for less than a week.  Come on --come and see what we see!

Sonnie from our company loves working on Cape Cod.  Every week we meet for what we call a "working lunch".   We drive around in my convertible VW take photos and movies of our Rental Homes and our favorite Cape spots.  

It has been so much fun to see the Cape come alive this Spring.  Flowers blooming, grass is green and the beaches are just so beautiful.  

We work hard but we never forget to take a moment and enjoy why we live on Cape Cod.
