Hello Summer...

Ah Summer how we missed you!!! 

 It finally feels like spring and summer all at once on Cape Cod.  For the first time in many years we actually had a cold snowy winter.  But as we drive around now we suddenly see green grass and trees and the flowers are now blooming.

There is nothing like a Cape Cod garden.  Our favorites are the beautiful perennial's and of course when the hydrangeas peak…then we know it is Cape Cod summer.

You never know what kind of weather you will get in New England…Yesterday on Cape Cod-- it was sunny, crisp and beautiful.  As we were driving around Chatham, we received this photo from Maine. This is what I was seeing?

In Western Maine there was snow...

And then today on Cape Cod there is snow…

How can that be?  But that is New England for you.  We love the diverse New England weather. We love snow, leaves turning in the fall, spring flowers and summer heat and warm Nantucket Sound.

Here it is October 22 and we just stepped outside our Chatham office to see this beautiful rainbow.  What do you think?

The temperature is a nice 65 degrees and the sun is out -yet there were a few misty rain showers...

This past weekend the Cape was very busy with several festivals such as the Wellfleet Oyster festival, Chatham and Harwich Scallop festivals, Chatham Pumpkins in the Park and several road races and craft fairs.

Summer rentals have always been popular on the Cape.  But now-- we are seeing more off season activity and with that we are offering special off season rental packages for our Cape Cod homes.

Happy Fall!

This is what Fall looks like on Cape Cod.  These photos were taken in Chatham earlier this week.  The weather has been perfect.  The mornings start out a little cool --just right for a walk or outdoor exercise.  The afternoons are still beach weather and believe it or not folks are still swimming.

These pictures just make you smile and say "Happy Fall"!
